Theory #1:

I was stoned and thinking whether there is an infinite cycle of existance. Like.... we are full of cells and the smallest we are aware of is the atom. And atoms are made up of protons and nuetrons and so on. I was wondering if there are further microscopic cells which create and atom, and so on. For example: Think of the number (1) and continuously divide it by (2). Infinatly, it will become a smaller and smaller number getting closer and closer to 0 but never actually hitting it [(1)/(2)=(0.5)/(2)=(0.25)/(200)=(0.001 3)/(2000)=(0.00...063)/(...)]. Now think of those numbers resembling further microscopic organisms. Also with our universe. As you multiple (1) by (2) coontinously, you will infinatly get larger and larger numbers, maximum refering to our universe as a whole. With a universe dividing into galaxies, into solar systems, into planets/stars, into organisms, into cells, into atoms and so on. Just like a common theory, the universe is just another cycle (such as being an atom in a further larger existance). Maybe refering to dimensions.

Also if you may notice, look at the resemblance of an atom with a solar system.
Wrap your altered minds around this.

Flash Freestyle Battles:
Flash Freestyle Battles '09

I've been looking through my old posts when I came accross the origional Flash Freestyle Battle thread. For those of you who werent around back in '05, it was a thread where animators would set a topic and a deadline with one another and attempt to make a better movie than the challenger.

I've been looking into getting back into animating, but I've become very rusty and lost motivation. I have decided to remake the thread (once again; although my origional remake from '05 was more based on a tournament) in order to help me and as well as other animators test their abilities and give them something to feel better about.

How This Works:

There will be no groups, tournaments, or any mandatory battles. This is for those who have the time to participate and want a little practice or for those who want to test their flash abilities against other animators. You MUST have flash to participate.

Basically, you leave a post with any given topic (such as Alphabetical, Stick Figure, Parody, etc.) and how much time you wish to work on it. From there another artist will respond and state whether they accept the challenge. You arrange a deadline (like 30 minutes, 3 hours, 24 hours, etc.) and expected to post your flash within 15 minutes of the given time.

Just have fun and enjoy yourselfs. Please keep flaming and spam to a minimum and respect eachothers work. If you have any questions or seek any feedback regarding your flash, please, feel free to ask.

Once your flash movies have been posted, other posters will vote among the competing flash movies with a score of 1-5 (1/5,2/5,3/5,4/5,5/5) within 30 minutes after the deadline. The flash with the highest score will be the winner.

Anyone is welcome to join.
